SUMMARY:Virtual Life Fest 2020
DESCRIPTION:Virtual Life Fest 2020 – July 10th – July 13th\n2020 brought a global health crisis that has challenged GIST patients. We had planned this year to be in New Orleans to share valuable information about GIST Research\, to enjoy fellowship with each other\, and yes\, to enjoy the wonderful food and music. \nEven though we can’t be together physically for our biennial Life Fest celebration and we won’t be together for GIST Awareness Day\, we can unite and spread a message of hope and positive messages while raising GIST awareness across the globe. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors\, we still have a wonderful virtual weekend planned\, with some of the same elements Life Fest always provides. \nWith the latest information being shared in both our traditional GIST 101 presentation with Dr. David Josephy\, and through several panels featuring top GIST specialists and researchers\, a program targeted to the SDH community as well as fun events including a cooking demonstration\, Virtual Life Fest will prove that even with the restrictions on gathering\, you cannot keep the GIST community from sharing their strength\, hope and experiences. \nRegisterOur theme for Virtual Life Fest\, and for GIST Awareness Day this year is #GISTHope.\nThere are many ways for you to share this hopeful message: \n\nParticipate in our Virtual Life Fest Events.\nJoin us in our Virtual Walk.
