GIST Sarcoma Life Raft Group Canada is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the GIST Day of Learning on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
This will be our first conference which offers a choice to attend in-person or to attend virtually via Zoom videoconferencing. Our plan is to offer the entire in-person conference via Zoom and allow both in-person and virtual attendees to participate in the roundtable discussions as well as the Q&A during the presentations.
This GIST Day of Learning conference will begin at 12:00 PM so as to provide reasonable start and end times for all Canadian time zones.
For those unfamiliar with our GIST Day of Learning conferences, Life Raft Group Canada has been hosting these GIST patient and caregiver conferences across Canada since 2012, to provide support and education for those living with GIST. This conference is open to those who have GIST, caregivers, family members, friends, healthcare providers, and anyone who wishes to learn more about GIST. This will be our 11th GIST Day of Learning.
There is no charge for attending the GIST Day of Learning.
This conference will include:
- Informative sessions
- Roundtable discussions in which all attendees can participate
- Lots of opportunity to meet informally with other attendees as well as the speakers
- Buffet lunch and refreshments
When you register, you will be asked to indicate if you are planning to attend in-person or to attend virtually via Zoom.
