Generics Perception Survey
On September 30, 2015, the Life Raft Group sent out a survey to gather people’s perception on generic drugs. Since the generic version of imatinib will become available on or about February 1, 2016, we felt it was important to gauge our members’ knowledge of brand names versus generic drugs. A year later, September 13, 2016, the Life Raft Group sent out a follow-up survey to gather information about accessibility of generic drugs. Few generic versions of imatinib have become available and we believed that it was important to understand potential barriers and areas of intervention.
