The Court of Two Sisters – 613 Royal Street. Fabulous brunch at this beautiful restaurant with outdoor seating in the courtyard. 504- 522-7261

Dooky Chase’s Restaurant – 2301 Orleans Avenue. Take a cab to this out of the way place for great traditional Creole staples. Great Fried Chicken. A NOLA legend. 504- 821-0600

Pat O’Brien’s – 718 St. Peter Street & Bourbon – Home of the Hurricane. Watch out! They pack a punch. See if you can get onto the balconies to throw beads. 504-525-4823
Felix’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar – 739 Iberville St. Everyone will tell you to go to Acme for oysters, but Felix is older, the food is less expensive. Amazing oysters, po’boys and shrimp. 504-522-4440
Mother’s Restaurant – 401 Poydras St.- Great southern cooking. Known for their baked ham. Great breakfasts. Always a line to get in. Reasonably priced. 504-523-9656
